Using the law of attraction in your business

Monday, October 6th, 2008

The law of attraction is a powerful force in this world. It is working around the clock whether you want it to or not. You can choose to use it to your advantage or you can ignore it. Just realize that it is always working like gravity. You’re either creating the things that you want in life or you’re creating the things that you don’t want. If you realize the power of this law, you can really use it to the advantage of your business. If you have a website or graphic design business, you might overlook the power of the law of attraction. However, its power is still present in this area of business as well. So how do use the law of attraction in your business?

The first thing that you have to do is decide what you want for you business. What goals or aspirations do you have for your website or graphic design business? Do you want more customers? Do you want a certain number of visitors per day? Do you want to land a big new account? The options that you could desire are limitless. Just don’t be afraid to admit that you actually want something. The first step in the process is recognizing your desire.

Once you have decided what it is that you want, write it down. There is something magical in the process of actually writing down your goals. It helps to make the image more concrete in your mind. Once the idea is fixed in your mind, it is firmly planted in your subconscious mind. When your subconscious mind gets the idea, you will start to enjoy your idea on another level.

This is where the attraction begins. You should do everything that you can to give emotion to your idea. If your wish is to have more business, imagine what it would feel like to have it. Don’t just casually think about it. You have to live it. Act as if you already have it.

Once you have visualized it and felt it, you should be grateful. Be grateful that it is on its way to you. Be grateful for everything that you already have. Gratitude puts you in a phenomenal vibration and amplifies the law of attraction.

The next thing that you must do is not worry about it. Carry on and work efficiently. If you sit around and wonder where it’s at, you will cancel out your effectiveness. Don’t try to figure out how it’s going to come to you. Just realize that it will and believe it. Your faith in the process is instrumental in its success. If you find yourself starting to doubt (and you will) just stop. Imagine yourself in possession of the goal and get in a good vibration again.

Overall, the law of attraction represents a great advantage for your business. You can bring to your business fantastic things or you can bring terrible things. What you bring is completely up to you. There are no accidents. Everything is brought to you right on schedule.

The Power and Importance of Referrals

When you are in charge of the a web design or graphic design business, one of your most powerful advertising tools is the referral.  When people like your work enough to recommend it, you’ll find that there are a number of different advantages that you can simply not find any other way. Even though that is the case, many professionals who work the field neglect to ask their pleased customers for a referral.

If you see that your customer is pleased with your work, make sure that you ask them to refer you on to their friends and their colleagues. When your clients do this, your name has the benefit of coming from someone who is trusted.  A personal referral goes significantly further than a testimonial from a person that they don’t know or an advertisement that they happen to stumble across.  In addition to this benefit, you’ll see that there is also the advantage of association.  Even if the people who are referred to you don’t take you up on your services right away, they will associate your name with someone that they like or respect.

Followup With Clients Image Here we will talk about dealing with clients and how good followup with a client is one of the most important factors to your business success. Getting a client and doing credible work for them is definitely one aspect of a sale. However, follow-up with a client is often overlooked. Selling should not just about the products or services you are selling, but also your relationship with the customer. People do business with people they trust and trust is established in many different ways.

The most common way to establish trust is on-time payments mixed with the product or service being delivered on time. But did you know that one of the most important ways is by simply following up with a client after the payment and service(s) have been completed?

A follow-up is more than a mere courtesy to your client. It is a vital way to show your client(s) that you care and you are there for them if they are unhappy. When you value a client, you need to let them know how much you truly value their business.

Establishing a good client relationship also establishes trust between the two of you. When you establish trust, you gain an on-going relationship and referrals. Those two factors alone are well worth a simple, yet important, phone call or email. See how the client is doing with the service you provided them. Ask them if there is anything more that you can do for them. Read the rest of this entry »
