Use of HTML Editors

An HTML editor is a great piece of software that allows people with little (or even no) knowledge of HTML to create a website. What is HTML anyways you ask? It’s an acronym for Hypertext Markup Language that is the code that allows us to see webpages online. It sounds complicated but it’s really not. If you can use a word processor you can use most HTML editors in existence today.

An HTML editor will highlight, using various colors, HTML codes which essentially help you locate and edit, or add, HTML to your page. For a visual example, see the picture below:

Why Do I Get So Much Spam Email?

The question that we have all asked at one point or another in our time of being on the internet and a question that we all want to know; Why do I get some much spam mail? Firstly, we will see exactly where spam comes from, how its generated, and then how it ultimately ends up in your email.

Animated Gifs Versus Flash Movement

Here we will discuss the differences between animated gifs and the use of Flash. Let’s start off by distinguishing the two. Shockwave Flashes/Small Web Format and Shockwave Flash (also known as SWF) is a more of an advanced method for publishing animated and/or streaming content on the web, while animated GIF’s are smaller and shorter animations consisting of frames put together in motion.

So how do you choose which one to use? Let’s take a more in-depth look at the options. An animated movie in Flash may look exactly the same as an animated movie in GIF format if you have any user options, buttons, interactivity, etc. Those options simply cannot be played in an animated GIF. A GIF is nothing but a series of static images that are put together to create an animated picture. If you need or want the ability for your users to interact, then a Flash SWF is the way to go.
